ECC Panel Program Override

  1. During display of BCM data on FDC panel (see DISPLAYING TROUBLE CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM), ECC panel will display a 2-digit number representing various levels of heating and cooling effort. As "F.8.0" first appears on FDC, ECC panel will begin displaying program number currently being used by climate control system. As operating conditions change, number will automatically change in response.
  2. Automatic calculation of program number can be by-passed using manual override feature, initiated by depressing WARMER and COOLER buttons on ECC panel. This manual override system allows service technician to control program number between "0" (maximum A/C) and "100" (maximum heat) and simultaneously observe reaction of any BCM data parameter.
