Entering BCM Data Display

  1. With ".7.0" displayed on FDC (to cause ".7.0" to be displayed on FDC, see INTRODUCTION TO DIAGNOSTIC TESTING), depress and release OUTSIDE TEMP button on ECC panel. BCM data series begins as display switches from ".7.0" to "F.8.0".
  2. To advance display, depress HI button on ECC panel. To return to a lower numbered display or jump directly from "F.8.0" to end of display list, depress LO button on ECC panel.
  3. When trouble shooting a malfunction, BCM data display can be used to compare vehicle with problems to a vehicle that is functioning properly. See BCM DATA PARAMETERS table for list of BCM data parameters.
  4. When BCM data display is first initiated, FDC will display a parameter check (i.e., P.2.0 or P.3.1) for one second and then a number to indicate parameter value for 9 seconds. Display will continue to repeat this sequence of events until another parameter is selected.
