Note On Intermittents

If PCM Code E22 is stored as history, manipulate related wiring while observing PCM parameter P.0.1. Check TP sensor test point for short to ground. Cycle TP sensor through its travel and tap on TP sensor using a pencil or pocket screwdriver to test for intermittent TP sensor. If fault is induced, PCM data P.0.1 will momentarily skip to 72 degrees or greater. If wiring is okay, substitute known good TP sensor, and retest.
