Pcm Code E24 - Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Circuit Problem: Description

Vehicle speed sensor generates an electrical signal representative of vehicle speed. Vehicle speed sensor buffer amplifies and conditions signal from speed sensor to PCM. PCM Code E24 indicates a speed signal is not being received by PCM.

To avoid any erratic cruise control operation due to an intermittent problem, cruise control system is disabled for entire ignition cycle.
