Code P080, Fuel System Rich: Notes

This test detects a rich condition caused by fuel injection system, or by evaporative emission control fuel canister that is purging continuously, causing a rich engine condition. Code can only be set during sustained steady driving. Code P080 sets when all these conditions are present and long term fuel trim value is 104 or less (rich system). System turns off canister purge in an attempt to lean out system.
