Using Tech 1: Notes

NOTE: Tech 1 Scan Tester (94-00101-A) with Bosch ABS DLC Adapter, Breakout Box (J-39700) and high impedance multimeter are needed to test parts of ABS system.

Chassis cartridge or mass storage cartridge must be inserted in tech 1 to perform diagnostic procedures on anti-lock brake or traction control system. Tech 1 is plugged into DLC connector before turning ignition on. A Bosch ABS adapter is required when testing Bosch anti-lock brake system.
