TCS Test

  1. This test runs pump motor to apply fluid pressure to rear wheel circuits. Pilot solenoid valve test must be run first to ensure TCS test results are accurate. Perform test as follows. Raise vehicle on frame contact hoist so wheels to be tested are off ground.
  2. Turn ignition on. Using Tech 1, select F4: ABS TESTS and then F4: TCS TEST. Perform PILOT VALVE TEST, if not already done. Confirm pilot solenoid valve is working properly before continuing. Command TCS test on by pressing up arrow on Tech 1. Pump motor should be running and applying pressure to rear wheels. Try to spin rear wheels. Wheels should not spin. LAMP TEST (Warning Light Test) Using Tech 1, select F4: ABS TESTS and then F2: LAMP TEST. Select warning light to be tested. Turn warning light on and off by using Tech 1 up and down arrow.
