Remote Keyless Entry/Theft Deterrent System Arms But Does Not

Sound Alarm During Illegal Entry

1) Leave driver's window open. Turn ignition off. Arm theft system, close doors, and wait 30 seconds. Connect test light between Remote Control Door Lock Receiver/Theft Deterrent Module (RCDLR/TDM) connector terminal C5 (Black wire) and voltage. Open door by reaching through window.

2) If test light flashes on and off about once a second, repair open circuit in Black wire. If test light does not flash on and off about once a second, check for poor connection at RCDLR/TDM connector terminal C5 (Black wire). If connection is okay, replace RCDLR/TDM.
