DTC PZ2255, Generic Loss Of Serial Data (Source Id Unknown)

PZM periodically sends a request for information to other control modules via class 2 data line. DTC PZ2255 will set when PZM requests information on a module and module is not on-line. When DTC PZ2255 is set, PZM will use default values for information requested. DTC PZ2255 will clear when module which information is requested comes back on-line.

If DTC PZ2255 is set, clear DTCs and cycle ignition. If DTC PZ255 sets as current, ensure all control modules are operating properly. Also, check for short to ground or battery in class 2 data bus. If all modules and class 2 data bus are okay, replace PZM.
