DTC 20, Rap Enable Circuit (Circuit Shorted To Battery): Notes

Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is enabled when ignition switch is turned to RUN position. RAP will continue operation of power windows, sun roof, trunk release, radio and windshield wipers for up to 10 minutes after ignition is turned off or will discontinue operation immediately if any door is opened. RAP is enabled when CCM grounds RAP relays control circuit.

DTC 20 will set when RAP relays control circuit is in a high state for more than 2 seconds while CCM is attempting to ground the circuit. CCM grounds RAP relays control circuit when ignition switch is turned to RUN position.

When DTC 20 is set and RAP relays control circuit is shorted to battery, RAP functions will not operate as intended. DTC 20 will clear if fault goes away for 2 or more seconds.
