DTC 22, DIL Enable Circuit (Circuit Shorted To Battery): Notes

Delayed Interior Light (DIL) relay is enabled once CCM receives a wake-up signal. Delayed interior lights enable circuit is pulled to ground at the CCM. Once DIL relay is energized, voltage is supplied to courtesy lights and other systems fed by DIL relay circuit. DIL relay will remain energized for 10 minutes after ignition is turned off. DIL system is separate from RAP system.

DTC 22 will set when delayed interior light enable circuit is in a high state for more than 2 seconds while CCM is attempting to activate DIL relay after wake-up signal is supplied to CCM.

When DTC 22 is set and delayed interior lights enable circuit is shorted to battery, DIL functions will not operate as intended. DTC 25 may also be set depending on when fault occurred due to dependency of illuminated entry function on DIL. DTC 22 will clear if fault goes away for 2 or more seconds.
