DTC 23, DIL Enable Circuit (CKT Open Or Shorted To Ground): Notes
Delayed Interior Light (DIL) relay is enabled once CCM receives a wake-up signal. Delayed interior lights enable circuit is pulled to ground at the CCM. Once DIL relay is energized, voltage is supplied to courtesy lights and other systems fed by DIL relay circuit. DIL relay will remain energized for 10 minutes after ignition is turned off. DIL system is separate from RAP system.
DTC 23 will set when CCM is not activating the DIL relay during power up, after wake-up or up to 5 seconds after DIL timer has timed out.
When DTC 23 is set, a short to ground in delayed interior lights enable circuit will keep DIL relay contacts closed at all times, supplying constant power to roof rail courtesy, visor, vanity and garage door opener. DTC 23 will clear if fault goes away for 2 or more seconds.
