DTC 25, Courtesy Output Circuit (CKT Open Or Shorted To GRND): Notes
Courtesy lights output circuit is used to complete electrical circuit for courtesy light system. When CCM receives a request to activate roof rail and door courtesy lights, CCM will ground courtesy lights output circuit.
DTC 25 will set when courtesy lights output circuit is off (CCM not grounding circuit), DIL relay has not been enabled and voltage is low. If fault lasts longer than 2 seconds, DTC 25 will set because voltage at CCM terminal C12 should be high if courtesy output is off.
When DTC 25 is set and courtesy lights output circuit is shorted to ground, courtesy lights will illuminate until illuminated entry or delayed interior lights time out. If courtesy lights output circuit is open, courtesy lights will be off at all times. DTC 25 will clear if fault goes away for 2 or more seconds.
