DTC 35, Parking Light Enable Circuit (CKT Shorted To Battery): Notes

CCM, Remote Control Door lock Receiver/Theft Deterrent (RCDLR/TD) module or headlight switch can complete parking light relay coil circuit. When CCM, RCDLR/TD module or headlight switch grounds parking light enable circuit, parking light relay coil will pull contacts in, allowing current to flow from battery to instrument panel fuses.

DO NOT turn parking light switch (headlight switch) on with DTC 35 set. Excessive current flow in parking light enable circuit may cause headlight switch to short out.

DTC 35 will set if parking light enable circuit is in a high state for more than 2 seconds when CCM is trying to turn on parking lights.

When DTC 35 is set, parking lights will not illuminate. DTC 35 will clear if fault goes away for 2 or more seconds.
