DTC 37, DRL Enable Circuit (CKT Open Or Shorted To Ground): Notes

Daytime Running Lights (DRL) are available on Canadian vehicles only. CCM will ground DRL enable circuit when a request for DRL to be turned on is received.

For DRL equipped vehicles, DTC 37 will set if CCM is awake, DRL enable function of CCM is not requesting DRL operation and DRL enable circuit voltage stays low for more than 2 seconds. For non-DRL equipped vehicles, since No DRL relay exists, CCM diagnostic feedback for DRL enable circuit will always be low.

When DTC 37 is set and DRL enable circuit is open, DRL functions will be off and CCM will command headlights on. DTC 37 will clear if fault goes away for 2 or more seconds.
