Throttle Position Sensor Removal and Installation

Throttle Body Exploded View:

Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the Throttle Body Assembly. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Removal.

3. Remove the TP sensor mounting bolts.

4. Remove the TP sensor from the throttle body.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the TP sensor onto the throttle body. Tighten the TP sensor screws to 2.3 Nm (20 lb in).

2. Install the Throttle Body Assembly. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Installation.

3. Reconnect the negative battery cable.

4. Perform the TP sensor learn procedure listed in DTC P1526 TP Sensor Learn Not Complete table.
