- Perform MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK under TESTING - SYSTEM CHECKS. Go to next step.
- Disconnect left outside mirror connector C1. Connect a fused (20-amp) jumper wire between component-side of outside mirror connector C1, terminal "C" (Light Green wire) and battery voltage. Connect another fused (20-amp) jumper wire between component-side of outside mirror connector C1, terminal "D" (Yellow wire) and ground. If up/down motor runs, go to next step. If up/down motor does not run, go to step 6).
- Disconnect Memory Mirror Module (MMM) Blue, 32-pin connector. Using DVOM, check resistance Yellow wire between MMM harness connector terminal F10 and outside mirror harness connector C1, terminal "D". If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is not 5 ohms or less, go to step 7).
- Check resistance of Light Green wire between MMM harness connector C1, terminal F12 and outside mirror harness connector C1, terminal "C". If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is not 5 ohms or less, go to step 8).
- Replace Memory Mirror module (MMM).
- Replace left outside mirror. See MIRRORS - POWER article.
- Repair open in circuit No. 88 (Yellow wire) between left outside mirror and MMM. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Repair open in circuit No. 89 (Light Green wire) between left outside mirror and MMM. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
