Cruise Control Indicator Always On

  1. Disconnect cruise control module connector. Turn ignition switch to ON position. If CRUISE indicator illuminates, go to next step. If CRUISE indicator does not illuminate, go to step 3).
  2. Locate and repair short to ground in Brown/Blue wire between cruise control module and instrument cluster. If Brown/Blue wire is okay, replace instrument cluster. After repairs, go to step 4).
  3. Replace cruise control module. See CRUISE CONTROL MODULE  . After repairs, go to next step.
  4. Reconnect all connectors and components. Ensure CRUISE indicator operates properly. If CRUISE indicator does not operate properly, go to step 1).
