DTC B2471: Interior Lights Fault: Notes

Interior lights are commanded by BCM through an output to interior lights relay. When interior lights relay is energized, ground is provided for interior lights.

DTC B2471 will set when BCM detects an open or short in output circuit to interior lights relay. When DTC B2471 is set, BCM will continue to command state requested until it is achieved or changes. DTC B2471 will clear when conditions for fault no longer exist or when scan tool is used. A history DTC will clear after 50 consecutive ignition cycles if conditions for fault no longer exist.
