Reprogramming IPC

NOTE: This theft-deterrent relearn procedure must be performed when IPC has been replaced so that new IPC can learn vehicle's key code value.

NOTE: Vehicle battery must maintain a minimum of 10.5 volts. If battery is not fully charged or is weak, connect a battery charger to maintain battery voltage. DO NOT set battery charger in 12-volt boost mode, as this will prevent this procedure from working.

Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Wait a minimum of 10 minutes. Cycle ignition switch from OFF to RUN position. Wait a minimum of 10 minutes. Cycle ignition switch from OFF to RUN position. Wait a minimum of 10 minutes. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Recheck system operation.
