Diagnostic Procedures

  1. Perform BCM diagnostic system check. See BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  . After performing system check, go to next step.
  2. Clear DTCs. Turn ignition off. Turn ignition on. Recheck for DTCs. If DTC B1009 is still present, go to next step. If DTC B1009 is not present, system is okay.
  3. Turn ignition off. Replace Rear Integration Module (RIM). After replacing module, go to next step.
  4. Reconnect all components or connectors. Clear DTCs. After clearing DTCs, perform BCM diagnostic system check. See BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
