Diagnostic Procedures
- Perform BCM diagnostic system check. See BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK . After performing system check, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect A/C low side temperature sensor. Turn ignition on. Check voltage between sensor harness connector terminals "A" and "B". See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If voltage reading is 5 volts, go to step 4). If voltage reading is not 5 volts, go to next step.
- Check voltage between DIM harness connector terminals A6 (Black wire) and A7 (Gray wire). If voltage reading is 5 volts, go to step 6). If voltage reading is not 5 volts, go to step 5).
- Replace A/C low side temperature sensor. After replacing sensor, go to step 8).
- Replace DIM. After replacing DIM, go to step 8).
- Repair open in Gray wire. After repairs, go to next step.
- Check for short or open in Black wire. Repair as necessary. After repairs, go to next step.
- Clear DTC using scan tool. Confirm proper system operation.
