DTC B0856: 5-Volt Reference Out Of Range: Description

Memory Seat Module (MSM) is supplied battery voltage from SEATS circuit breaker (30-amp) in left MaxiFuse(R) Block using circuit No. 742 (Red wire). This battery voltage is used to operate seat motors. DTC B0856 will set when battery voltage falls out of range of 9.0-15.5 volts. DTC B0856 will clear when dirty battery voltage is within a valid operating range during the last monitoring cycle.
