Door Module

  1. Remove inside door handle trim plate. Lift flap inside pull handle opening and remove 2 fasteners. Remove 2 lower trim panel fasteners. Using Door Trim Pad & Garnish Clip Remover (J 38778), release 8 trim panel fasteners. Lift up and pull out slightly on trim panel to access door latch cable. Disconnect door latch cable from inside door handle. Disconnect electrical connector. Remove door trim panel from door, and set aside.
  2. Disconnect electrical connectors from door module. Release tabs from top and bottom of door module. Remove door module from door. To install, reverse removal procedure.
