Removal & Installation

  1. Open rear compartment lid. Remove push in retainers from top edge and center of rear compartment front trim panel. See Figure . Remove rear compartment front trim panel from rear compartment.
  2. Remove bay board fasteners. See Figure . Pull bay board away from body and place module side up in rear compartment.
  3. Disconnect RIM electrical connectors. Depress inward on locking tabs and slide RIM out of bay board. See Fig 1 . To install, reverse removal procedure. After installation, RIM must be programmed. See PROGRAMMING  .
