DTC B2757: Driver Memory 1 Select Switch Circuit Low: Description

Driver Door Switch Assembly (DDSA) contains a microprocessor which takes the signal generated by the memory function switch, processes it, and assigns a digital message to it. Memory function switches are normally open and are wired directly to Driver Door Switch Assembly (DDSA). When memory 1 switch is pressed, switch pulls 5-volt circuit from DDSA low. DDSA senses that memory 1 switch circuit is pressed and a class 2 message is sent out to appropriate modules for memory recall function.

DTC B2757 will set if memory 1 switch circuit is active for more than 30 seconds. The circuit will be considered shorted, and DDSA will set this DTC. DTC B2757 will not set if B1328 or B1327 are set as current. When DTC is set, DDSA will ignore and not respond to invalid switch input from memory switch. DDSA will respond to all other valid switch inputs.

DTC B2757 will automatically clear when switch condition setting DTC is no longer current.
