Removal & Installation

  1. Before proceeding, disable air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS - DEVILLE, ELDORADO & SEVILLE article. If possible, adjust front seat to up position until maximum travel is reached. Angle front of seat cushion up to access seat cushion fasteners. Remove fasteners retaining cushion to seat adjuster. See Fig 1 .
  2. Disconnect electrical connectors from Heated Seat Module (HSM) and Memory Seat Module (MSM). See Figure . Bend tabs on module and bracket assembly in order to remove module and/or modules and bracket assembly from seat adjuster. Remove fasteners retaining MSM to module bracket and remove. To install, reverse removal procedure.
