Power Doors Diagnostic System Check

  1. Turn ignition off. Connect scan tool to Data link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Attempt to establish communication with Memory Mirror Module (MMM). If scan tool communicates with MMM, go to next step. If scan tool does not communicate with MMM, go to SCAN TOOL DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH CLASS 2 DEVICE under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in BODY CONTROL MODULES - ELDORADO article.
  2. Display DTCs for MMM using scan tool. If any MMM DTCs are set, go to MEMORY MIRROR MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  table. If no MMM DTCs are set, go to next step.
  3. If customer complaint is with power mirrors, go to OUTSIDE MIRROR SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING. If customer complaint is not with power mirrors, go to next step.
  4. If customer complaint is with power door locks, go to POWER DOOR LOCKS - ELDORADO article. If customer complaint is with power windows, go to POWER WINDOWS - ELDORADO article.

B1982  Source/Battery Voltage High
B1983  Source/Battery Voltage Low
B2130  Memory 1 Key Malfunction
B2131  Memory 2 Key Malfunction
B2132  Memory Exit Key Malfunction
B2133  Memory Set Key Malfunction
B2140  Mirror Up Switch Malfunction
B2141  Mirror Down Switch Malfunction
B2142  Mirror Left Switch Malfunction
B2143  Mirror Right Switch Malfunction
B2144  Driver Mirror Vertical Sensor Short To Ground
B2145  Driver Mirror Vertical Sensor Short To Battery
B2146  Driver Mirror Horizontal Sensor Short To Ground
B2147  Driver Mirror Horizontal Sensor Short To Battery
B2148  Passenger Mirror Vertical Sensor Short To Ground
