Vehicle Control Module (VCM)

Vehicle Control Module (VCM) receives vehicle speed information from VSS and disengagement signal from CPP switch (M/T) or brakelight switch. This information is transmitted to cruise control module. Speed information is used to maintain desired vehicle speed. Upon depressing clutch or brake pedal, power to VCM is interrupted, signalling VCM to request cruise control module to disengage cruise function.
