Section 25 (Remote Keyless Entry Systems): Description

Remote keyless entry system allows driver to operate vehicle door lock and unlock functions from outside vehicle using a remote transmitter. Content theft deterrent system may also be armed and disarmed using remote transmitter. Transmitter must be within 33 feet (10 meters) of vehicle for receiver to detect coded signal. System uses uplevel door lock system components with a Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR).
