Keyless Entry Transmitter Battery: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Insert a small coin between the 2 halves of the transmitter case at the slot provided near the key ring hole.
2. Twist the coin in order to open the case.
3. Open the transmitter case.




4. Remove the battery (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the battery (2) with the positive (+) side up.
2. Align both halves (1, 3) of the transmitter.




3. Ensure that the seal is positioned correctly.
4. Close the transmitter case.
5. Resynchronize the transmitter. Programming and Relearning
6. Replace the battery when the range of the transmitter decreases to less than 7 meters (23 feet).
