Circuit Description

Current drawn from battery supply to Memory Seat Module (MSM) is monitored by MSM. When excessive current is detected, MSM disables seat motors in order to protect internal MSM circuitry. DTC sets when MSM measures battery current exceeding 81 amps for 100 milliseconds. MSM tests for excessive current only when seat motors are active.
