Rear Integration Module: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Cadillac Seville and 2001 Cadillac Seville. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the RIM to the bay board.
  2. Push the RIM (1) into the opening on the bay board, until an audible click is heard, indicating the Rim (1) is secured to the bay board. See Fig 1 .
  3. Connect the electrical connections to the RIM.
  4. Install the bay board to the vehicle body.
  5. Install the bay board fasteners (2). See Figure . Tighten the fasteners (2) to 80 INCH lbs. (9 N.m).
  6. Install the rear storage compartment trim.
  7. Reprogram the RIM. See appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
  8. Restore the drivers personalization settings.
