Programming Automatic Door Locks

NOTE: Automatic door locks can be programmed to LOCK or UNLOCK when shifting transmission selector into or out of Park position. If more than one remote keyless entry transmitter is to be programmed, repeat procedures for second transmitter.
  1. Turn ignition on. Set transmission selector to Park position. Depress and hold brake pedal.
  2. Either all doors UNLOCK when shifting into Park position or all doors DO NOT UNLOCK when shifting into Park position. To toggle between either setting, press UNLOCK button on remote keyless entry transmitter 4 times. Each press should be held for about one second with less than 5 seconds between each press.
  3. Either all doors DO NOT LOCK when shifting out of Park position or all doors LOCK when shifting out of Park position. To toggle between either setting, press LOCK button on remote keyless entry transmitter 4 times. Each press should be held for about one second with no more than 5 seconds between each press.
