Diagnostic Aids

Ensure engine controls power relay was not removed while ignition was on. This DTC and several others will set if switched battery voltage is removed from ECM while ECM is powered up. Test for intermittent or poor connections on switched battery circuits at ECM. Also test control circuit for engine controls power relay for in intermittent open or high resistance and inspect terminal contact at relay.
