Transmission Control Module

NOTE: The following procedure requires Techline equipment.
  1. TCM must be programmed with proper software/calibrations. Ensure battery is fully charged, ignition is on and Techline equipment cable connection at DLC is secure before proceeding.
  2. Program TCM using latest software matching vehicle. Refer to up-to-date Techline equipment user's instructions. If TCM fails to program, check the following:
    • Ensure TCM connection is okay.
    • Inspect Techline equipment for latest software version.
    • Attempt to program TCM. If TCM still cannot be programmed properly, replace TCM. Replacement TCM must also be programmed.
