Body Control Modules: Programming: Notes

CAUTION: DO NOT program an existing control module with the identical software/calibration package. This procedure will not correct a driveability condition. A control module should only be programmed when a service procedure instructs you to replace the control module, the control module does not contain operating software or calibrations or an updated software/calibration package is available.

NOTE: Before programming any modules, ensure scan tool has the latest software version, vehicle battery is fully charged and all modules on serial data line are connected.
