WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation involving steering column components. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS - DEVILLE, ELDORADO & SEVILLE article. Do not apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
CAUTION:
Ignition key transponder value is learned permanently, so caution should be used to ensure that unwanted ignition key transponder values are not learned.
NOTE:
All replacement modules automatically learn ignition key transponder value of first ignition key used to start vehicle.
