GPS Info
Pressing the GPS INFO button on the NAVI DIAG MENU screen leads to a screen titled GPS INFO. This screen displays the status of the navigation GPS system. This screen provides the following information:
- SATELLITE. Shows the number of satellites received. Normal system operation has three or more satellites being received
- ANTENNA. With normal operation, this field displays OK. If the GPS antenna is open, this field displays NG.
Included on the GPS INFO screen is the SAT button. Pressing this button leads to the SATELLITE INFO screen. This screen provides specific parameters (latitude, longitude and condition) for each satellite received. If the condition (CND) field is blank for a particular satellite, the satellite is not being received
Note than when checking satellite information, the vehicle must be outside in an open area. You can not check GPS information inside a building; the navigation system does not receive GPS information inside a building
