DTC B3031: Key Decoder Device In Assembly Learn Mode: Testing

NOTE: For this DTC to set, a key with a working transponder was read by theft deterrent control module. For that key to operate vehicle a 10 Minute or 30 Minute Re-Learn Procedure must be performed.
  1. If theft deterrent diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If theft deterrent diagnostic system check has not been performed, perform THEFT DETERRENT DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. Perform program programming theft deterrent system components procedure. See PROGRAMMING THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM COMPONENTS  under PROGRAMMING. After completing procedure, go to next step.
  3. Using scan tool, clear DTCs and check system operation. Operate vehicle within code enable criteria. See CODE ENABLE CRITERIA  . If DTC does not reset, testing is complete. If DTC resets, go to step  2 .
