System Operation Check

  1. Move mirror select switch to left mirror position. Operate left mirror to left, right, up and down positions. Mirror should operate as commanded in all positions.
  2. Move mirror select switch to right mirror position. Operate right mirror to left, right, up and down positions. Mirror should operate as commanded in all positions.
  3. If vehicle is equipped with memory mirror option, press memory button 1. A single beep should be heard and both mirrors should move to positions programmed for memory button 1. Press memory button 2. A single beep should be heard and both mirrors should move to positions programmed for memory button 2.
  4. If vehicle is equipped with curb view feature, turn ignition switch to RUN position. Move shift lever to Reverse. Right mirror should tilt downward approximately 7 degrees, or to end of travel. If mirror system does not function properly, perform doors diagnostic systems check. See DOOR SYSTEMS DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
