Installation Procedure

  1. Install the theft deterrent module to the lock module.
  2. Connect the theft deterrent module electrical connector.
  3. Install new tie straps to secure the wiring harness.
  4. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement - On Vehicle (Power Tilt)  or Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement - On Vehicle (Manual Tilt) .
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM .
