Content Theft Deterrent Arming/Disarming

Continue with the following steps in order to personalize the content theft deterrent arming/disarming:

  1. Insert a second key into any door lock cylinder.
  2. Rotate the key to the UNLOCK position and hold for 1 second. Count the number of chimes in order to determine the current mode.
  3. Rotate the key again or press the Panic button on vehicles equipped with keyless entry in order to advance to the next mode. The chime will sound the number of times equivalent to the mode.
  4. Continue to rotate the key or press the Panic button until you reach the desired mode.
  5. Remove the key from the door lock cylinder.
