Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora and 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the heated seat module (2) to the bottom of the seat cushion.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the heated seat module fasteners.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the electrical connectors (3) to the heated seat module (2).

  4. Ensure the wiring harness is positioned in the same location in which it was removed.
  5. Install the seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Front  .
  6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM in SIR.
