DTC P0615: Improper Circuit Condition In The Output Driver Modules: Description

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Savana Special, 2002 GMC Savana Camper Special, 2002 GMC Savana, 2002 Chevrolet RV Cutaway, and 2002 Chevrolet Cutaway. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The PCM uses Output Driver Modules (ODM's) to control many functions of the engine. The ODM's supply the ground path for the PCM controlled device when the PCM commands the device ON. Each ODM is able to control several outputs. The PCM monitors the ODM's for circuit conditions that are incorrect for the commanded state of the ODM. If the PCM detects an improper circuit condition in the ODM that controls the starter relay, DTC P0615 will set.
