Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the control module (1) to the steering column and tighten the retaining screw.

    Tighten 

    Tighten screw to 2 N.m (15 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connectors on the steering column control module.
  3. Install the knee bolster. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT - LEFT (WITHOUT UV2) or KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT - LEFT (UV2) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  4. Program the steering column control module. Refer to STEERING COLUMN CONTROL MODULE PROGRAMMING  .
