Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 6. This step tests the TCC/cruise control switch signal circuit for a short to voltage.
  2. 7. This step verifies that the ECM receives a 12 volt signal from the TCC/cruise control switch when the brake pedal is pressed.
  3. 8. This step verifies that the TCC/cruise control switch has ignition 1 voltage.
  4. 10. This step verifies that the stop lamp switch has battery positive voltage.
