Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Cadillac CTS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the following wiper motor module grommets:
- Round (2)
- Oval (6)
- Pin (7)
- Place the wiper motor module into the vehicle.
- Connect the wiper motor module electrical connector (4).
- Align the wiper module locator hole (7) to the pin located inside rail of the driver side fender.
- Align the locator hole (6) to the hole in the pillar flange.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the outer fastener (5)
Tighten
Tighten the outer fastener to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the center fastener (3).
Tighten
Tighten the center fastener to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the air inlet grille (1,3). Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT (LHD) or AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT (RHD) in Body Front End.
- Install the wiper arm assemblies. Refer to WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT (LHD) or WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT (RHD) .
- Install the wiper motor fuse in the underhood fuse block.
