Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Aligning Battery Heat Shield Downward

IMPORTANT: Ensure the openings in the heat shield are aligned with the battery terminal bosses.

Position the battery heat shield downward over the battery.
Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (LHD) or Battery Replacement (RHD) .
