Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the control module (1) to the steering column and tighten the retaining screw.

    Tighten:  Tighten screw to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connectors on the steering column control module.
  3. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left (Without UV2) or Knee Bolster Replacement - Left (UV2) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  4. Program the steering column control module. Refer to Steering Column Control Module Programming .
